Anna Nicole's former companion files $60 million lawsuit over book claims.

HOWARD K. STERN has filed a $60 million libel lawsuit against author RITA COSBY for alleging an affair between himself and LARRY BIRKHEAD in her book Blonde Ambition: The Untold Story Behind ANNA NICOLE SMITH's Death.

According to the Associated Press, Stern's lawsuit says the book falsely accuses him of "criminal lewd acts, homosexual acts, illegal possession and use of cocaine, conspiring to commit murder and kidnapping for ransom."

In the 65-page document filed by his attorney, Stern states that Cosby and her publisher "have exploited Ms. Smith's life and death by publishing false and defamatory factual accusations."

An attorney for Birkhead said "it's just a matter of time" before he files his own suit against the author.

The men in Anna Nicole's life are not the only people speaking out against the book. Her former bodyguard BIG MOE told ET: "Any quotes in her book, referring to Moe, Big Moe, or Anna Nicole Smith's bodyguard, are not from me."
