Man arrested in relation to the case.
ET confirms that a man has been arrested on suspicion of receiving stolen property related to a theft from the set of the new 'Indiana Jones' movie.
RODERICK DAVIS, 37, of Cerritos, CA was taken into custody. Police tell ET that they set up a sting operation with detectives posing as buyers. They believe more people are involved and the investigation is ongoing.
Several items, including computers and photographs, were stolen from the 'Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull' production, reports Variety.
While a spokesman for the film's director, STEVEN SPIELBERG, could not comment on when or where the alleged crime took place because "a law enforcement investigation is ongoing," he was able to confirm that the theft did occur.
The highly anticipated fourth installment in the famed franchise is slated to hit theaters on May 22, 2008. HARRISON FORD reprises his role as the beloved archaeologist adventurer, as does KAREN ALLEN as spunky Marion Ravenwood. Along for the ride as well this time are 'Transformers' star SHIA LaBEOUF, Oscar winners CATE BLANCHETT and JIM BROADBENT, JOHN HURT ('Hellboy') and RAY WINSTONE ('The Departed').
