Several celebrities unite on behalf of ONE.org.
Several influential Hollywood stars and musicians -- from BEN AFFLECK and ELLEN POMPEO to CHRIS DAUGHTRY and LAILA ALI -- have joined forces with ONE.org and socially conscious fashion label EDUN to help in the fight against global AIDS and extreme poverty in Africa.
Just like last year, the ONE campaign and EDUN have teamed up to launch the ONE.org T-shirt on October 16 at Nordstrom and Nordstrom.com and at ONE.org, with a portion of the sales going toward providing life-saving AIDS treatment in Africa.
The celebrities involved this year, who were photographed by photographer and supermodel HELENA CHRISTENSEN as part of a new print campaign, customized their T-shirts for the shoot. The one-of-a-kind, signed T-shirts will be up for auction exclusively on the EDUN Web site for two weeks starting October 16. One hundred percent of the proceeds from the auction will go directly to ONE: The Campaign to Make Poverty History. Meanwhile, the images can be seen in the November issue of Elle and in the new issue of People coming out this week.
The celebrity T-shirts will be on display at Nordstrom at The Grove in Los Angeles from October 12 through November 7.
