Court spokesperson ALLAN PARACHINI has announced that the custody order for BRITNEY SPEARS' two small children has been modified -- Spears is now allowed to have one overnight visit per week with her sons with KEVIN FEDERLINE: SEAN PRESTON, 2, and JAYDEN JAMES, 1. The visits will be monitored by the same monitor who has already been working on the case.
Parachini said that Spears did speak in court and her voice was soft and respectful. He also noted that the Judge "emphasized that this is a relationship of very young parents and little guy kids."
Kevin's attorney, MARK VINCENT KAPLAN, also spoke following the hearing, saying that Spears' attorneys had originally asked the court to "change the orders that were made last Wednesday to what they were before last Wednesday," but that the request was denied.
Kaplan said that the lawyers were asked to confer and come up with an arrangement on their own. When they were ordered back to court at 1:30, Spears spoke and Kaplan alerted the judge that Federline had agreed to slightly up the amount of time that Spears would spend with the children. Kaplan noted that the court was "appreciative" that Federline did so voluntarily.
