ET's Mary Hart and her mother, Dorothy Harum, take part in Lifetime's "Heroes Celebration."
MARY HART honored her mother DOROTHY HARUM Tuesday night at Lifetime TV's annual "Heroes Celebration," honoring breast cancer survivors and others involved in the fight against the disease.
"I am the luckiest girl in the world that you are my mother and you're here with us tonight. She is my angel and my hero," Mary complimented the woman who raised her. Mary's other special guest was her ET colleague CHRISTINE JAMES, also a breast cancer survivor.
The event, at which Mary acted as mistress of ceremonies, took place at the Landmark Theater in Los Angeles, as part of a special sneak screening of the Lifetime Original Movie, "Matters of Life & Dating," starring RICKI LAKE and HOLLY ROBINSON PEETE, and premiering October 22 at 9 p.m. In the film, Lake plays a single woman living with breast cancer.
