The singer gets personal on his latest album.

Only KID ROCK can really explain why his sixth studio album is called Rock N Roll Jesus yet is chock-full of explicit lyrics, but fans seem to get it, as it is the #1 album on the "Billboard 200" this week.
Rock manages to uphold Christian ideals in "Amen" but tears them down quickly on other tracks. The interesting contradiction that is Bob Ritchie continues as the disc veers from rock 'n roll to country, soul and hip-hop.
The new release will hopefully overtake the other reason that the musician has been garnering attention lately. In an interview with the Associated Press, Kid Rock commented on his recent stint in the tabloids -- sparked by his MTV VMA scuffle with TOMMY LEE -- saying, "US Weekly will be gone next week ... the songs I am writing won't." And, while he adds that he was "an idiot in love" with PAMELA ANDERSON, he's enjoying the single life, as evidenced in "So Hott," a song with heavy guitars and raunchy lyrics. Though he says he has no regrets for marrying Anderson, he seemingly sends her a message in the country-inspired "Half Your Age," which tells of his new woman folding his clothes, and being "half your age and twice as hot."
The album is a hodge-podge of personal reflections that lack direction or a definitive genre, but that has been Kid Rock's signature style all along. Rock, who is currently on a North American tour, will appear on "JIMMY KIMMEL Live" on October 26th.
