FBI Raids David Copperfield's Warehouse
Copperfield's lawyer comments on an investigation concerning the illusionist's warehouse.
FBI agents raided a Las Vegas warehouse owned and operated by illusionist DAVID COPPERFIELD, according to a CBS news source.
The Seattle FBI, who are involved in the investigation, told ET, "The investigative activity in Las Vegas is related to a Seattle case that is pending."
"We understand there is an investigation, are in touch with the investigators, and are respecting the confidentiality of the investigation," Copperfield's attorney, DAVID CHESNOFF of Chesnoff & Schonfeld, said in a statement.
According to a Las Vegas affiliate for CBS' news department, FBI agents have investigated a warehouse owned and operated by Copperfield, among other places, but would not confirm what the investigation is about or whether they were targeting the illusionist or someone else.
