'30 Days of Night' is the top film at the box office.
Vampires roamed movie theaters this weekend as '30 Days of Night' premiered at No. 1 with $16 million.
The thriller about a gang of vampires terrorizing an Alaska town during a dark winter month stars JOSH HARTNETT, MELISSA GEORGE and BEN FOSTER.
TYLER PERRY's 'Why Did I Get Married?' dropped to second with $12.1 million. The dramedy, based on Perry's stage play of the same name, tells the story of eight college friends who get together for a weeklong reunion in Colorado only to discover that all may not be what it seems in their marriages. The film stars Perry, JANET JACKSON, SHARON LEAL, singer JILL SCOTT, MALIK YOBA, MICHAEL JAI WHITE and TASHA SMITH.
THE ROCK's 'The Game Plan' dropped to third, while GEORGE CLOONEY's 'Michael Clayton' stayed strong in fourth place.
'Gone Baby Gone' premiered in fifth place with $6 million. BEN AFFLECK's directorial debut stars his brother CASEY AFFLECK in a drama about a kidnapped girl.
