ET's very own MARY HART hosted the 11th Annual Hollywood Awards tonight at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California, where megawatt stars like BRAD PITT, RICHARD GERE and JOHN TRAVOLTA hit the red carpet.
Richard Gere, who took home the Actor of the Year award, told our Mary Hart, "I feel genuinely fortunate that I have this life."
The awards gala for the Hollywood Film Festival honored such industry heavyweights as Richard Gere (Actor of the Year, 'The Hoax'), John Travolta (Supporting Actor of the Year, 'Hairspray'), JENNIFER CONNELLY (Supporting Actress of the Year, 'Reservation Road'), CASEY AFFLECK (Breakthrough Actor of the Year, 'Gone Baby Gone'), BEN AFFLECK (Breakthrough Director of the Year, 'Gone Baby Gone') and the cast of 'Hairspray' (Ensemble Cast of the Year).
Presenters included Brad Pitt, CATHERINE ZETA-JONES, KIRSTIE ALLEY, WILL FERRELL, JANET JACKSON, MARCIA GAY HARDEN, JANEANE GAROFALO, CAMERON CROWE and KELLY PRESTON.
