The stage and screen veteran awaits a lung transplant to save his life.
ROBERT GOULET is in critical condition, awaiting a lung transplant.
According to a news release issued to BroadwayWorld.com, the singer/actor has been hospitalized for the past 22 days and is in critical condition, with Interstitial Pulmonary Fibrosis, which is a rare but rapidly progressive and fatal condition.
Goulet is currently waiting to find a lung donor at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, which is considered to have one of the best medical transplant teams in the country. It has been determined that without an emergency lung transplant, he will not survive.
