Is how you look holding you back? That's the question TYRA BANKS is asking in her new social experiment, "Bodyville," airing this week on "The Tyra Banks Show."
But first, Tyra turns the mirror on herself in a candid interview when our own MARK STEINES asks her if she likes her own body.
"I like my body, but my body is the sum of parts," replies Tyra. "I'll be honest; I don't love my legs, and my calves are too small for me, and my thighs are kind of thick, and my ankles are really skinny, and, you know, I don't necessarily love my stomach -- not as firm as it used to be -- and I've got cellulite on my butt, and I've got what'd you call 'back-fat' when my bra's on.
"I'm just like any other woman you know," she continues. "I don't obsess about it, but I look at [these aspects of my body] and I don't like it all the time, but I am fortunate enough to be from the fashion industry and know how to dress to hide those types of things. That's what I do on 'The Tyra Show' all the time, is tell women how to camouflage and hide things and accentuate the good."
For "Bodyville," Tyra blurs the line of body perception when she puts several women of varying body types and racial lines in nude-colored body suits. The results will shock and amaze you!
