ET's STEVEN COJOCARU is first on the set of the 'Sex and the City' movie to get the inside scoop from SARAH JESSICA PARKER, who returns to her most memorable role as Carrie Bradshaw.
"I strangely didn't miss Carrie," she admits. "I missed playing the part, and I missed being with the people. I missed shooting on the streets of New York. [But] I felt great about where [Producer/Writer/Director] MICHAEL PATRICK [KING] left her."
Cojo's exclusive interview with Sarah took place in Carrie's bedroom -- reconstructed for the movie -- where he noticed a book on parenting. So, he had to ask, "Is Carrie pregnant?"
"She has curiosities about people's lives and children. She's always been interested in people, and she's always been interested in sexual politics and gender politics, and I'm sure she's interested in that particular period in a woman's life," is all Sarah will say.
As to whether or not Carrie and Big (CHRIS NOTH) are actually getting married, or whether all the photos that were snapped of Carrie in a wedding dress on the streets of Manhattan were for a dream sequence, Sarah takes the Fifth.
She jokes, "I've never been someone that has abused narcotics, drugs, pills or booze -- none of it. But I willingly took some kind of tablet -- it was given to me -- and I have no short-term memory, so I don't know what we shot prior to today."
One thing that will be the same for Sarah in the movie as it was on the TV series is her decision not to take it all off in front of the cameras. The mother of five-year-old JAMES WILKIE exclaims, "Why would I start doing nude scenes now!? At this late point in my life, good God!"
