The actress is telling girls to "stay strong."
JENNIFER LOVE HEWITT is addressing body image in a new blog on her Web site.
Her blog post, titled "About the Hawaii Photos," refers to photos taken of the "Ghost Whisperer" star in a bikini.
The actress, who recently became engaged to actor ROSS McCALL, writes: "I've sat by in silence for a long time now about the way women's bodies are constantly scrutinized. To set the record straight, I'm not upset for me, but for all of the girls out there that are struggling with their body image."
She continues, proclaiming vehemently: "A size 2 is not fat! Nor will it ever be. And being a size 0 doesn't make you beautiful."
The curvaceous star writes, "I love my body," and, sending a message to her female fans, goes on, "To all girls with butts, boobs, hips and a waist, put on a bikini -- put it on and stay strong."
