Santa Claus is coming to town and, if you have any doubt, turn on the tube and check out your favorite holiday shows!

FRIDAY, DECEMBER 7

'The Polar Express'
ABC Family, 8 p.m.

Based on the Caldecott Medal children's book by CHRIS VAN ALLSBURG, 'The Polar Express' tells the tale of a doubting young boy who takes an extraordinary train ride to the North Pole and embarks on a journey of self-discovery that shows him the wonder of life never fades for those who believe.

"Frosty the Snowman"
CBS, 8 p.m.

Frosty, that "jolly, happy soul" whose old silk hat full of magic has turned him into a musical Christmas legend, once again demonstrates his unique showmanship. Narrated by JIMMY DURANTE, the special also includes the voices of JACKIE VERNON (as Frosty) and BILLY DE WOLFE (Professor Hinkle).

"Frosty Returns"
CBS, 8:30 p.m.

The magic still in his old silk hat, the holiday season's perennially popular original dancing snowman continues his adventures and skates on the edge of danger. JONATHAN WINTERS is the narrator with JOHN GOODMAN as the voice of Frosty.

"Monk"
USA Network, 9 p.m.

"Mr. Monk and the Man Who Shot Santa" -- In the third "Monk" holiday special, Monk TONY SHALHOUB becomes a social pariah when he shoots a man dressed as Santa Claus.

"All I Want for Christmas"
Hallmark Channel, 9 p.m.

Jesse (JIMMY JAX PINCHAK), a nine-year-old boy, enters a toy company-sponsored contest in which entrants are asked for their greatest Christmas wish. Unbeknownst to his widowed mother, Sara (GAIL O'GRADY), he asks them to help his mom find a new husband. What follows is a whirlwind of interviews and dating, with cameras following her every move.

"Eve's Christmas"
Lifetime, 9 p.m.

Unfulfilled ad exec Eve Stevens (ELISA DONOVAN), who is about to become a partner in her firm, re-evaluates her life on Christmas Eve and makes a wish with surprising results. She wakes up on Christmas and finds herself living with her parents and engaged to the man she ditched 12 years ago. Will she make different choices this go round? CHERYL LADD plays Eve's mother.

"Las Vegas"
NBC, 10 p.m.

"A Cannon Carol" -- The casino staffers are busy making holiday plans except for Mike (JAMES LESURE), who begins to doubt his place in Vegas as well as in his friend's lives. A modern day Scrooge, Sam (VANESSA MARCIL), invites a client to come to the casino for the holidays, but he decides to donate his money to a charity instead of gambling at the casino. Meanwhile, Delinda (MOLLY SIMS) and Piper (CAMILLE GUATY) host a "Hot Santa" contest to win the Vegas casino charity competition, and Danny (JOSH DUHAMEL) is pressured by Cooper (TOM SELLECK) to fill a vacant retail space at the Montecito.

SATURDAY, DECEMBER 8

"Dr. Seuss' How The Grinch Stole Christmas"
ABC, 8 p.m.

JIM CARREY stars in this classic holiday tale based on the DR. SEUSS book about a mean and bitter old Grinch who dislikes holiday cheer so much that he decides to steal Christmas away from all the Whos in Whoville. ANTHONY HOPKINS narrates.

"The Note"
Hallmark Channel, 9 p.m.

When Peyton MacGruder (GENIE FRANCIS), a struggling human interest columnist, happens upon a note written by one of the victims of an airline crash, she makes it her mission to deliver it to the intended recipient by Christmas, bringing her readers along for the journey and unexpectedly confronting her own demons in the process.

"Lost Holiday: The Jim and Suzanne Shemwell Story"
Lifetime, 9 p.m.

Estranged couple Suzanne (JAMI GERTZ) and Jim (DYLAN WALSH find themselves in a life-or-death ordeal when they are accidentally trapped in a blizzard during a snowmobiling trip gone wrong. With Christmas days away, only a miracle can get them home for the holiday. "Lost Holiday" is based on a true story.

Sunday, December 9

"Holiday in Handcuffs"
ABC Family, 8 p.m.

MELISSA JOAN HART and MARIO LOPEZstar in the romantic holiday comedy "Holiday in Handcuffs," a story about a modern young woman who has a breakdown at Christmas and desperately kidnaps a handsome guy to take home to her parents. Can she keep her misdeed a secret from her family and convince them that they are a happy couple or will their Christmas be ruined?

'Santa Claus: The Movie'
AMC, 8 p.m.

'Santa Claus: The Movie,' starring JOHN LITHGOW as B.Z., an evil corporate magnate, and DUDLEY MOORE as Patch, one of Santa's elves, is the story of how Patch, Santa's head elf, strikes out on his own and falls in with an evil toy manufacturer who wants to corner the market and eliminate Santa Claus.

"A Christmas Carol"
AMC, 9:45 p.m.

CHARLES DICKENS' classic holiday tale of one man learning the true meaning of Christmas is brought to the in this 1984 made-for-TV movie. Ebenezer Scrooge (GEORGE C. SCOTT) is a cynical old man whose greatest concern is money, and who regards compassion as a luxury he can't afford. On Christmas Eve, Scrooge is visited by the ghost of Jacob Marley (FRANK FINLAY), his former business partner, who arranges for Scrooge to be visited by three spirits in an attempt to show him the error of his ways.

MONDAY, DECEMBER 10

"I Want a Dog for Christmas, Charlie Brown"
ABC, 8 p.m.

It's Christmas vacation and, as usual, ReRun's big sister Lucy is stressing him out, so he turns to his best friend, Snoopy, for amusement and holiday cheer. However, his beagle companion has plans of his own, causing ReRun to ask Snoopy to invite his canine brother, Spike, for a visit. When Spike shows up, it looks like ReRun will have a dog for Christmas -- but then the real trouble begins!

"Single Santa Seeks Mrs. Claus"
Hallmark Channel, 9 p.m.

A modern-day St. Nick needs a wife, but the woman on whom he sets his sights is an unbeliever. Can Nick (STEVE GUTTENBERG) get his true love, a stressed-out single mom, Beth Marshall (CRYSTAL BERNARD), with little time for a relationship, to change her mind about Santa? The movie also stars THOMAS CALABRO as Beth's hard-driving boss.

"The Road to Christmas"
Lifetime TV, 9 p.m.

Claire's (JENNIFER GREY) plans for a storybook Christmas Eve wedding in Aspen are derailed when a tremendous storm paralyzes the region. Forced to hitchhike to reach her wedding, the soon-to-be bride meets a widower and his 12-year old daughter. There's an undeniable attraction, and on the eve of her wedding, Claire will have to decide between her millionaire fiancé and this new man in her life.

"White Christmas"
MyNetwork TV, 10 p.m.

BING CROSBY and DANNY KAYE star as Bob Wallace and Phil Davis, a couple of ex-G.I.'s who team up to become a top song-and dance act in this 1954 movie. They meet up with a sister team (ROSEMARY CLOONEY and VERA ELLEN) for a Christmas show -- which leads to romance.

TUESDAY, DECEMBER 11

"Winnie the Pooh and Christmas Too!"
ABC, 8:32 p.m.

In "Winnie the Pooh and Christmas Too!," Pooh and Piglet retrieve a letter to Santa, but while trying to add some forgotten Christmas wishes, their plans go amiss. Realizing the letter won't find its way to the North Pole in time, Pooh and Piglet decide to play Santa, with some decidedly comic results!

WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 12

"Holiday Switch"
Lifetime, 9 p.m.

NICOLE EGGERT stars as Paula, a frustrated housewife who makes a Christmas wish to leave her current daily grind for a more extravagant lifestyle.

"Christmas in Washington:
TNT, 10 p.m.

Dr. PHIL and ROBIN McGRAW return for a fourth year as hosts of TNT's annual presentation, featuring popular recording artists performing for the President and First Lady and other Washington VIPs. This concert celebrates the holiday in musical style while benefiting the National Children's Medical Center.

THURSDAY, DECEMBER 13

'The Polar Express'
Disney Channel, 8 p.m.

"Holiday Spirit" -- A ghost who believes he is Santa Claus has lost touch with the true meaning of Christmas and Melinda (JENNIFER LOVE HEWITT) must help him find his way back.

'It's A Wonderful Life'
NBC, 8 p.m.

FRANK CAPRA's 'It's a Wonderful Life,' the 1946 holiday classic feature film starring JAMES STEWART, DONNA REED and LIONEL BARRYMORE returns for another holiday season. The film follows the life of George Bailey (Stewart) from childhood to maturity in the town of Bedford Falls. On what might be his last Christmas Eve, a discouraged Bailey wants to throw his life away. Fortunately, Clarence (HENRY TRAVERS), a second-class angel, is sent to show him the value of life. After Clarence gives Bailey a view of Bedford Falls without him, Bailey realizes how precious his life is and gets a second chance. He comes to learn that Clarence was right when he said, "No man is a failure who has friends."
