The Los Angeles County Superior Court tells ET that actor DANIEL BALDWIN's bench warrant has been recalled.
Judge NANCY NEWMAN recalled the embattled star's bench warrant today and he went back on probation. As per the requirements of his probation, Baldwin, who appears in VH1's upcoming "Celebrity Rehab with DR. DREW" next month, must re-enroll in a drug program.
A no-bail bench warrant was issued on December 7 for the 47-year-old actor, who was on probation for a drug-paraphernalia possession charge and failed to appear for a progress report hearing. According to Baldwin's lawyer, the failure to appear was simply due to a mix-up.
Attorney GRANT HOAGLAND told The Associated Press that there was "a miscommunication," explaining that Baldwin called his probation officer the day before the hearing to say he couldn't make it because he was filming a movie in Canada -- a message his lawyer says obviously didn't reach the judge.
Baldwin is due back in court on March 4, 2008 to review his progress.
