The star dancer may have appendicitis.
"Dancing with the Stars"' two-time champ CHERYL BURKE was taken to the hospital in Seattle late Tuesday with a suspected case of appendicitis, according to TVGuide.com.
As a result, the popular dancer was forced to miss the opening night of the "Dancing" tour. "I was cramping and in pain," Burke told TVGuide.com.
The 23-year-old planned to fly home to San Francisco on Wednesday for a second opinion with her family doctors and could miss more of the tour if surgery is deemed necessary.
Cheryl's co-dancer LOUIS van AMSTEL told TVGuide.com that her illness and leave from the tour was a "disaster" and fellow dancer KARINA SMIRNOFF joked, "Cheryl can't be gone for more than a week. I won't let her."
