ET has confirmed BRENDAN FRASER and his wife AFTON SMITH have decided to call their marriage of nine years quits.

Their reps tell ET, "Brendan fraser and his wife, Afton, have decided to end their marriage of nine years. They continue to maintain a close and caring friendship."

The couple have three children.
