KEVIN FEDERLINE's lawyer intends to seek sanctions against BRITNEY SPEARS for missing her deposition this month in the warring exes' child custody case, People reports.
As ET previously reported, Britney was supposed to testify at attorney MARK VINCENT KAPLAN's office on Dec. 12, but pulled a no-show, calling in sick instead. Now, Kaplan claims he will request that the court take action against the pop star in early 2008.
"She was, in fact, out later that day and night. It's not fourth grade where you get a doctor's note and it's all okay," Kaplan tells People.
Meanwhile, photos of Britney's ex partying Saturday night at Las Vegas nightclub LAX with PARIS HILTON and others surfaced online. Paris and sister NICKY are set to ring in the New Year's at LAX in Vegas.
