16-year-old JAMIE LYNN SPEARS, who recently announced to the world that she was expecting her first child, was recently photographed carrying a GED book in her home state of Louisana according to People.

The star of Nickelodeon's Zoey 101 was spotted outside a building that houses both the Tangipahoa Parish School System Adult Education Center, (GED preparation site), and a Parent Center which gives parents the tools necessary to help their children learn reading skills.

Spears has been laying low since releasing the news of her pregnancy.
