SCOTT BAIO is married -- and a dad! The former "Happy Days" star and current reality TV star and his wife RENEE are introducing their new baby only to ET, and tonight they'll reveal the little tyke's name!
Scott and Renee's pregnancy ups and downs are chronicled in "Scott Baio is 46...And Pregnant," premiering on VH1 January 13 at 10pm with a special one-hour episode.
"It's nerve-wracking when [your significant other gets] pregnant," Scott tells our own THEA ANDREWS in his first televised interview with Renee after having the baby. "This season of the show goes through all of that; the anxiety of a guy -- because it's not about her, it's about me -- and all the emotions that a guy goes through, and you go through every single emotion that's ever been invented."
And emotions ran extremely high when Scott learned that they were going to have twins -- following the news that his father had passed away.
"She told me, 'We're having twins,' and I went down on the floor," he says. "I was emotionally shot."
Scott says the mixed blessing turned painful when the couple lost one of the babies.
"We were lying in bed and there was a problem, so we rush to the hospital and the doctor looks at her and says, 'I'm sorry, you're miscarrying.' Last year was a rough, very rough year."
Adds Renee, "I was on bed rest for nine weeks trying to keep the other baby, then we had her five weeks early. It was an emotional rollercoaster."
