GEORGE CLOONEY is speaking out about today's agreement between the Director's Guild of America and the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers.

The actor tells ET Thursday afternoon in a statement: "I'm very pleased with the new agreement and I hope it helps speed up the negotiations with the WGA."
