Be kind to JACK BLACK, okay? The endlessly inventive funnyman braved the cold to slide into Sundance this weekend for the premiere of his new comedy by director MICHEL GONDRY, the creative mind behind 'Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind,' and ET hit him up on the red carpet for all the details.
Set for theatrical release on February 22, 'Be Kind Rewind' stars Jack as man who accidentally magnetizes his brain, resulting in his erasing every videotape in his friend's (played by rapper and 'The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy' star MOS DEF) video store. In order to satisfy the store's most loyal renters, the pair attempt to recreate the erased flicks -- from 'The Lion King' and 'Ghostbusters' to 'Robocop' and 'Driving Miss Daisy' -- by acting them out themselves. What should surely have put them out of business results in making them local celebrities -- and invites some serious trouble!
The comedy also stars MIA FARROW and DANNY GLOVER.
