Despite being released from the psychiatric ward of a hospital only hours ago, BRITNEY SPEARS is already out cruising around town.

The pop star has been spotted wearing a purple top and checked hat while driving around in her new black Mercedes, accompanied by what appears to be a male bodyguard. When stopped in traffic, photographers asked her, "How are you?" and she replied in a British accent, "How do I look?" When photographers then surrounded her car, she shouted, "You guys are mean!"
