"I love romance, absolutely," the self-confessed serial monogamist tells Mary. But the "Grey's Anatomy" star, who has been married for eight years, admits that his proposal to wife JILLIAN was done "poorly."
"We just bought this house and we were in the middle of remodeling it and the kitchen was a mess," he explains. "I kept giving her this line where I had to find the right ring, and I finally found it while she was gone and I couldn't wait, so I popped the question in the kitchen."
In 'Made of Honor,' Patrick plays a serial dater who decides to settle down just as his best platonic friend, played by MICHELLE MONAGHAN, decides to tie the knot. Not content to let her slip away, Patrick accepts her invitation to be her "maid" of honor in order to woo her for himself.
