More 'America's Next Top Model' to Come

The CW gave the green light to another season of the Tyra Banks show, "Gossip Girl" and more.

The CW today announced pickups of six of its series for the 2008-2009 season. Getting the thumbs up were "America's Next Top Model," "Gossip Girl," "One Tree Hill," "Smallville," "Supernatural" and "Everybody Hates Chris."

The unscripted "Top Model," which moved to New York for the current season, was given the go-ahead for cycles 11 and 12. Freshman series "Gossip Girl," starring BLAKE LIVELY and LEIGHTON MEESTER, will return for its sophomore season. These two shows, along with "One Tree Hill," which will be back for its sixth year, are the top-ranked shows in the Women 18-34 demographic.

JARED PADALECKI and JENSEN ACKLES will fight the "Supernatural" for a fourth year, while also getting a fourth-season pickup was the laffer "Everybody Hates Chris." In addition, the TOM WELLING-starrer, "Smallville" will fly into its eighth year.
