Stars of the big and small screen stepped out in Beverly Hills on Wednesday night for the 16th Annual Alzheimer's benefit,"A Night At Sardi's." The mood turned serious when stars were asked about PATRICK SWAYZE's battle with pancreatic cancer.
Producer DAVID E. KELLEY's "Boston Legal" was honored with the ABE BURROWS Entertainment Award for its portrayal of Alzheimer's, while Los Angeles mayor ANTONIO VILLARAIGOSA spoke about Alzheimer's impact on the city. Celebs like ANGELA LANSBURY, KRISTEN BELL, WILLIAM SHATNER, VANESSA WILLIAMS, DICK VAN DYKE, CANDICE BERGEN, VICTOR GARBER, JOHN LARROQUETTE and more attended the fundraiser and awards, which included a performance of numbers from Bye, Bye Birdie, which was directed by JASON ALEXANDER.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the Alzheimer's Association of the California Southland.
