Jack Bauer fans, rejoice! According to The Hollywood Reporter, the producers of FOX's "24" are developing a two-hour "prequel" to bridge the two-year gap between season six and the upcoming season seven. The TV movie is scheduled to air in the fall, with the show itself returning in January.
While eight episodes for the serialized drama had already been shot prior to the writers strike, FOX decided it wanted to wait until it had a complete seventh season in the can as opposed to splitting it up into two parts.
"24," starring KIEFER SUTHERLAND as government agent Jack Bauer, is set to resume production on the seventh season in April.
