Viewers sent Kady Malloy and three others packing.
"American Idol"'s Top 12 picture finally came into focus on Thursday night's results show -- but not before viewers sent another four contestants back to the karaoke bars!
The semi-finalists voted off were KADY MALLOY, LUKE MENARD, ASIA'H EPPERSON and DANNY NORIEGA.
Kady was first to get the ol' heave-ho, but the blonde bombshell seemed unshaken by her fate. "I don't regret a moment," she said, launching into QUEEN's "Who Wants to Live Forever."
Luke got voted off next, bringing judge PAULA ABDUL to her feet with a pronouncement: "This is the first day of the rest of your career," she said. Luke admitted to host RYAN SEACREST that he probably wouldn't to return to his day job as a carpet cleaner, then reprised WHAM!'s "Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go."
The tension then mounted as Ryan asked both Asia'h and KRISTY LEE COOK -- the last two ladies facing ejection -- to stand, and SIMON COWELL predicted that Asia'h would be the one to go. His surly prophecy proved correct, prompting Paula to reassure the crestfallen 19-year-old that her she was a "great, beautiful, talented" star in the making, and nothing could stop her. Asia'h thanked the fans and judges before singing WHITNEY HOUSTON's "I Wanna Dance With Somebody."
The final elimination of the night came down to Danny and CHIKEZIE EZE, with Danny walking the plank. RANDY JACKSON wished the trembling 18-year-old luck and told him to "keep on rockin.'" Danny did something akin to that, closing the show with SOFT CELL's "Tainted Love."
