Funnlyady MO'NIQUE was just one of the many celebs who stepped out in New York Tuesday night to kick off the "Healing Starts With Us" campaign, which, through the Stay Strong Foundation, is seeking a million pledges in support of encouraging open dialogue within the African-American community.
The campaign comes on the heels of TERRIE M. WILLIAMS' latest book, Black Pain: It Just Looks Like We're Not Hurting, and at Tuesday night's event, Mo'Nique, along with RUBY DEE, TERRY McMILLAN and AL SHARPTON, read excerpts from the powerful book.
