The former "Dancing with the Stars" contestant and her husband are expecting.

ET has confirmed that LAILA ALI is pregnant with her first child by hubby CURTIS CONWAY.

The former "Dancing with the Stars" contender told Essence magazine in the May issue, on newsstands April 11: "I don't know yet if we are having a boy or a girl, but I'm excited that I have a life inside me that my husband and I created."

The couple married last July.
