Movie news...

JAMES CROMWELL ('The Queen') and ELLEN BURSTYN have just been cast to play GEORGE HERBERT WALKER BUSH and BARBARA BUSH in 'W,' the upcoming OLIVER STONE biopic about their son, President GEORGE W. BUSH, per Variety.

The casting news follows the earlier announcements that JOSH BROLIN ('No Country for Old Men') is playing the title character and ELIZABETH BANKS ('Invincible') will portray first lady LAURA BUSH.

Oscar-winning director Stone will begin shooting in Shreveport, LA, at the end of April. The film will possibly be released by the November presidential elections and certainly before Bush leaves office in January.
