To celebrate Fox Home Entertainment's April 1 DVD and Blu-Ray Disc release of the wildly successful 'Alvin and the Chipmunks,' the famous furry trio joined several A-list celebrities and their families at a party and charity concert event in Hollywood Thursday.
The big shindig also kicked off the national "Get Munk'd Tour 2008," which will take Alvin, Simon and Theodore to select malls in 12 U.S. cities for a series of concerts.
Fox Home Entertainment also made a donation to the VH1 Save The Music Foundation to benefit music education for a local Los Angeles school on behalf of 'Alvin and the Chipmunks.'
