Jerry Seinfeld's car scare.
JERRY SEINFELD had quite a scare on the road over the weekend. The funnyman was taking his vintage 1967 Fiat BT for a joyride in New York -- only to have his brakes fail him, reports the Associated Press.
East Hampton Town Police Chief TODD SARRIS told the New York Post that Seinfeld tried to use the emergency brake, but did not have much luck, so he swerved to keep the car from plowing into an oncoming intersection.
Seinfeld's two-door sedan flipped over and came to a halt yards from the nearby highway.
The wreck was caused by mechanical failure. Fortunately, Seinfeld walked away unharmed.
