ET has obtained the accident report from JERRY SEINFELD's car crash.  Meanwhile a rep for the comedian tells ET:

"On Saturday, March 29th at approximately 7:30pm in East Hampton, NY, Jerry Seinfeld was driving his Fiat at a very low speed and encountered issues with the brakes. He left the car on the side of the road and took a ride home with a friend who was driving in a separate car behind him. He was unharmed by the incident."
