"Idol Gives Back" filmed segments for its upcoming Wednesday night two-and-a-half-hour special presentation on FOX, beginning at 7:30 p.m., and ET's KEVIN FRAZIER was on hand to catch all the backstage action!

A plethora of stars including BONO, BRAD PITT, REESE WITHERSPOON, ALICIA KEYS, MILEY CYRUS, MARIAH CAREY, ELI MANNING, PEYTON MANNING, FERGIE, CHRIS DAUGHTRY, ANNIE LENNOX, JOHN LEGEND, SNOOP DOGG, CELINE DION, FOREST WHITAKER, BILLY CRYSTAL, KIEFER SUTHERLAND, DANE COOK, VANESSA HUDGENS, ASHLEY TISDALE, former "Idols" CARRIE UNDERWOOD and FANTASIA, and former "Idol" contestant ELLIOTT YAMIN are scheduled to appear.

Last season, Idol raised over $76 million and received a special Governor's Award Emmy. All proceeds go to various U.S. and international charities, including the Children's Defense Fund, The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, Make It Right,  Malaria No More, Save The Children, and the Children's Health Fund.
