Celebrity stage news!
'Harry Potter' star DANIEL RADCLIFFE will bear his soul -- and everything else -- on The Great White Way.
The actor is reprising his London role in Equus as a emotionally disturbed young man with a fixation for horses for a 22-week run in New York City.
"It will be amazing," he told Reuters, "but I will be terrified because I was talking to RICHARD GRIFFITHS about playing New York and he said the most stupid thing you can do is underestimate New York audiences."
Richard, who played Uncle Vernon in the 'Harry Potter' movies, also appeared in the London stage version of Equus and will be part of the Broadway cast as well.
The production will be the show's first revival since its 1974 debut. The play originally ran until 1977, picking up a Tony Award along the way for best play in 1975.
