Besides turning pro-athletes and celebrities into ballroom-dance champions, "Dancing with the Stars" Judge CARRIE ANN INABA has another passion close to her heart. That's why she's co-hosting this year's 15th Annual Entertainment Industry Foundation Revlon Run/Walk for Women in Los Angeles. She told us about her personal connection to this cause and also dished about whom she thinks is the front-runner on "DWTS"!
"KRISTI YAMAGUCHI is doing so great out there, it's inspiring everyone else to up their game," she says.
On Saturday, May 10th, Carrie Ann will be upping her game by participating in the Revlon/Run Walk for Women to help fund promising breast and ovarian cancer research. (Go to revlonrunwalk.com to register.)
"Okay, I'm not quite ready to run," the professional dancer confesses. "I don't like to run, but I'm definitely going to walk! I'm going to take my time and talk to as many people as I can."
She's also starring in public service announcements for the event, which she hopes will benefit others, like herself, who have lost loved ones to cancer.
"Three people in my family have passed away from cancer. It's very close to home."
