Kristy Lee Cook's boyfriend is now her husband-to-be.

It wasn't all bad news for KRISTY LEE COOK this week. She may have come to the end of her "American Idol" journey, but she has a wedding to plan.

The 24-year-old country cutie got quite a surprise the same night she was cut from "American Idol" when her boyfriend, ANDY DOBNER, dropped down on one knee on "American Idol Extra" and asked her to be his wife.

He also had the perfect ring on hand, because, as Kristy Lee explained, "We picked it out together a long time ago -- just kind of for fun, shopping around for a ring."

It is a marquis cut stone surrounded by diamonds.

Kristy Lee and Andy met while she was a waitress at a restaurant in Grant's Pass, OR.

Despite her elimination, Kristy Lee still has the "American Idol" tour coming up, so she is looking toward next June as a possible wedding date.

Kristy Lee does plan to sing at her own wedding, but, if she could, she says, "I would love to have JASON ALDEAN sing at the wedding or CELINE DION."

And despite the harsh critiques, she is not averse to adding RANDY JACKSON, PAULA ABDUL and SIMON COWELL's names to the guest list.
