Co-scripted by Hunt and adapted from the ELINOR LIPMAN novel, 'Then She Found Me' follows the misadventures of a Manhattan teacher (Hunt) whose life is turned upside down when her adoptive mother dies, her husband (Broderick) leaves her, one of her students (Firth) falls for her and her apparent birth mother (Midler) suddenly bursts into her life. When she becomes pregnant, will she be able to pull her life together?
