Does the news signal the end of "Cashmere Mafia"?

It looks like LUCY LIU enjoys playing lawyers. The former "Ally McBeal" star is in negotiations to join the cast of "Dirty Sexy Money" as an attorney for the second season of the ABC drama series, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The new "Dirty Sexy Money" deal reportedly will go through if Lucy's other ABC show, "Cashmere Mafia," is not renewed due to low ratings. Liu's breakthrough role was as the ruthless Ling Woo on DAVID E. KELLEY's legal dramedy, a part written specifically for her.
