She'll help show others how to become social mavens.
As the star of MTV's "The Hills," LAUREN CONRAD knows all about being a social butterfly. Now, ET confirms that she'll help teach other twenty-somethings how to "Get On, Get Up, [and] Get Out" by partnering with College Tonight, an online community and networking service for the college crowd.
"My generation of college students depends so much on social networks to get and send news, meet new people and stay in contact with friends," LC says. "College Tonight is the one social network that encourages us to get out into the world and do all that in person, instead of at the computer."
Look for LC on College Tonight starting this summer. In the meantime, the reality star is keeping a busy schedule off-camera as a student at The Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising in Los Angeles -- and recently she took on the role of head designer to launch her own Lauren Conrad Collection!
College Tonight is perfect for networking, she says, because it's "private and secure, so we can feel safe. And it's about real experiences and a full, healthy life. I want my work and my personal style to reflect those same values, so this is a great partnership."
