An exhibition will soon launch featuring artifacts from the 'Potter' flicks!
Do you call your friends "muggles" and wear a scarf from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry? If so, you'll soon find yourself in 'Harry Potter' heaven when "Harry Potter: The Exhibition" hits your hometown!
Becker Group and Warner Bros. Consumer Products are launching a state-of-the-art, touring exhibition featuring props, costumes and artifacts from the phenomenally popular 'Harry Potter' movie franchise, based on J.K. ROWLING's beloved book series, of course. The 10,000-square-foot experience will premiere in Spring 2009 at a soon-to-be announced location, then tour through at least 10 more cities around the world over the next five years in major cultural and entertainment venues, museums and more.
Some of the goodies from the 'Harry Potter' films will also be displayed in environments straight off the screen, such as the Gryffindor common room from Hogwarts and Hagrid's hut. For those not in the know, the next big-screen installment, 'Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince,' is scheduled to hit theaters November 21.
"Harry Potter: The Exhibition" information, updates and ticket availability will be posted at www.harrypotterexhibition.com as details become available.
