It's official! MARIAH CAREY is married, journalist and author PAULA FROELICH of the New York Post's Page Six exclusively confirms to ET.

Mariah and her new hubby, actor NICK CANNON, married secretly in the Bahamas after dating for a month, Froelich reports, telling ET: "The wedding took place in Mariah's house in the Bahamas. There were not that many people there, you could probably count them on two hands. DA BRAT was there, her closest friends, her family, but really, it was a small, impulsive wedding."

Reps for both Mariah and Nick remain mum on the topic.

A source tells Froelich of the couple, "They have been smitten with each other for days, weeks. And she's always had a crush on him."
