ET Exclusive: MARIE OSMOND speaks out on the MILEY CYRUS photo controversy -- and how she herself was offered millions to pose nude!

Seeing the photos for the first time, Marie comments, "Artistically, it's lovely. It's beautiful -- and she's a beautiful girl."

But, she adds, "This is a 15-year-old girl."

"She's way too young," she says. "She's a little girl."

However, she understands the pressure to be sexy to appeal to a more mature audience, something many child stars like Marie have struggled with.

"Maybe they were trying to take her in a different direction," she speculates. Ultimately, "Miley needs to decide who she is."

Marie has become secure with herself, but as a young woman she had her own conflicts with her image -- especially after getting numerous offers to appear in the buff!

"I was offered millions of dollars to post nude…but what does that accomplish for anybody?"
