ROBIN WILLIAMS and his estranged wife MARSHA GARCES WILLIAMS have promised to handle their divorce in an "honest, cooperative and respectful" manner, according to court papers obtained by People magazine.

People reports that the papers, which were filed in San Francisco, include the following agreement: "We will strive to be honest, cooperative and respectful as we work in this process to achieve the future well being of our families. We commit ourselves to the collaborative law process and agree to seek a positive way to resolve our differences justly and equitably."

Earlier this year, ET reported that Marsha filed a divorce petition in San Francisco Superior Court on March 21. The couple, who were married in April 1989, have two children: a daughter Zelda, 18, and a son Cody, 16.
