ET has the scoop.
FARRAH FAWCETT's lawyer is speaking out to ET regarding an investigation into a possible breach of the actress' private medical files.
On April 9, a former UCLA Medical Center employee, LAWANDA JACKSON, 49, was indicted for allegedly accepting money from a media outlet in exchange for hospital patients' private medical information. Farrah believes her information was breached and was sold to media outlets that possibly include the National Enquirer.
Attorney KIM SCHWARTZ tells ET: ""Farrah Fawcett appreciates the effort of all who are investigating and taking action in exposing the invasion of her medical privacy and hopes the investigation into the practices of the National Enquirer, who obviously is the real responsible party, continues."
ET contacted the National Enquirer but received no response as of press time.
