Stylist Patricia Field gives us a sneak peek!
Fab Four KIM CATTRALL, KRISTIN DAVIS, CYNTHIA NIXON and SARAH JESSICA PARKER are turned out better than ever in 'Sex and the City: The Movie' with the holy trinity of designers!
"We had Dior, we had Mr. De La Renta, we had VERA WANG," Sarah Jessica reveals. "It was the best closet I have ever seen in my life!"
Famed series stylist PATRICIA FIELD returned to dress the ladies for the movie, and described the significance of the white flower dress that Sarah Jessica is seen wearing in the ads and in the opening scene.
"Of course, everybody remembers the flower from the show," Pat says. (Fans know that Sarah's character Carrie is known for wearing oversized flowers on her outfits.) Pat explained that this very special dress is a "vintage gown that I shortened into a minidress."
Of course, by now it's well known that Carrie also appears in a wedding gown in the movie, and Sarah Jessica reveals she pored over 40 to 50 gowns before she chose the film's VIVIENNE WESTWOOD creation.
As for the rest of the girls? Pat says that "belts were very, very important" in the look of the new movie. "I think it's the new silhouette," she predicts.
'Sex and the City: The Movie' opens in theaters on May 30.
