Once upon a time 'The Negotiator,' SAMUEL L. JACKSON is now in gearing up to play a black-ops interrogator! He'll tackle terrorism in 'Unthinkable,' a suspense thriller set to begin shooting this September, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

In the film, Jackson and a female FBI agent must deal with a suspected terrorist who claims to know the locations of three nuclear devices hidden across the U.S. and set to detonate in two days' time!

And next up for the 'Shaft' star? 'Lakeview Terrace' -- a drama due out this September which finds Jackson in the head of a tightly wound LAPD cop who takes frightful measures to demonstrate his disapproval of his next-door neighbors' interracial relationship.
