DREW BARRYMORE isn't playing the victim after a real-life hit and run. Police tell ET that after the actress was rear-ended, she took action and followed the assailant to get the license plate number.
The West Hollywood Sheriff's Department confirms that she was hit from behind at Gardner and Santa Monica between 11 a.m. and 12 p.m. Monday afternoon. When the car that hit her took off, she managed to get the license and report it to authorities.
Police are currently investigating the incident, in which fortunately there were no injuries.
