Just three days after denying they were engaged, OWEN WILSON and KATE HUDSON have decided to split, according to People magazine.

"It was a pretty bad breakup," a friend of Wilson's tells the mag. "Owen said it was a tough one. He definitely doesn't want to dwell on it. He wants to put it behind him."

The ex pair have been dating on and off since 2006.
